Theoretical Training

100% ONLINE - Study when and how you want -

Theoretical training is conducted online through our providers: PPLONLINE (Spanish/English), EVIONICA (for English)....

Upon enrollment, we will provide you with an individual and non-transferable key that will allow you to access the syllabus, review content, and take exams when you feel ready.

If you need it, we will send you the syllabus in PDF free of charge.

Once ready, we will facilitate different places where you can take the official exams. It is a comfortable and flexible process that allows you to prepare from home with the best resources.

If you have questions, our technical team from the workshop or dedicated instructors will be available to help you.

Subjects

There are a total of 9 exams that you can take at your own pace. The course includes 10 hours of in-person or online tutoring to resolve doubts.

After passing the official exams, you will receive a certificate that accredits your theoretical knowledge and you can continue with the practical phase.

Practical Training

The practical part of the course consists of a minimum of 46.30 flight hours, of which 15 hours will be as pilot in command (PIC).

The course finishes when the responsible instructor performs the validation exam by flying with the student, with a maximum duration of 1 hour and 30 minutes.

Training is mainly carried out at Juan Espadafor Aerodrome and Granada International Airport and to complement the training, we fly at nearby international airports contracted for this purpose: Córdoba, Sevilla, Almería, and Jerez de la Frontera.

Where are the classes taught?

Theoretical classes

Theory is mainly done online through our platforms PPL ONLINE and EVIONICA, which allows you to study from home at your own pace. Additionally, we offer in-person or online tutoring to resolve doubts and deepen your understanding of the topics.
Once you are part of our team, you will be assigned a tutor to consult your doubts.
In case you prefer in-person classes or small groups, we have facilities at Juan Espadafor Aerodrome (Granada) where we teach theoretical sessions and reviews with specialized instructors.
We are currently building new facilities at Granada International Airport LEGR to complete our training offer.

Practical classes

Flight hours are mainly conducted at Juan Espadafor Aerodrome and Granada International Airport, our main headquarters located in Granada.
We also use nearby international airports contracted for practice, including:

Requirements and complementary training

Optional: VFR Night Flight Rating (NVFR)

Add the ability to fly at night to your license with our specific course which includes:

5 hours of night flight (3 hours dual + 2 hours supervised solo).

Theoretical training at our facilities on the specifics of night flight.

Night maneuvers, navigation, and cross-country flights.

Time Building Programe

Complement your training after obtaining your PPL EASA (A) license with our program to accumulate valuable flight hours and experience [Based on the context of the PPL Page and the purpose of Time Building].

Accommodation near our facilities

At MRO Aviation, we want your training experience to be as comfortable and practical as possible. Therefore, although accommodation is not included in the price of our courses, we offer you personalized support so that you can find the ideal place to stay during your training.

  • Malaha: Apartment located in the town of Malaha, just five minutes away and right in front of our dedicated Juan Espadafor airfield. Ideal for those seeking direct proximity to practical facilities.
  • Chauchina: Shared apartment for two or three people located in Chauchina, right in front of the Granada International Airport, from where we also operate. A comfortable and well-connected option.
